In 2019–2020 we lost several Faculty and Friends of the School of Sleep Medicine, Inc. Their influence on the field of sleep research and sleep medicine cannot be overstated. They will be missed and live on in our work.

Dement, Stanford University Professor for over 50 years, served as Honorary Chair of the School of Sleep Medicine, Inc.,CME Committe. since the beginning of SSM. We are awaiting instructions from the family and colleagues at Stanford as to how to best honor his legacy.
